We use two base waistcoat designs. The Willow is inspired by an eighteenth century design (Poldark era). It has a stand-up collar, flapped pockets and a buckled tie at the back. The Hawthorn is a casual waistcoat based on a friend’s much-loved garment. It has a small collar, simple welt pockets and back tabs. We also make collarless waistcoats (often when we have only a scrap of fabric left over from another project!)
